Shrubs

SHRUBS are low woody plants, usually with multiple shoots or stems from the base.

They usually do not reach a height of more than15 feet. A planting of shrubs is called

"shrubbery."  They are also known as BUSHES, especially a shrub with branches rising

from or near the root.  Bush can also refer to a cluster of shrubs, as in a "thicket".
